FOREWORD

Two years have passed since I passed the Accreditation and Equivalency Test of Alternative Learning System under the Department of Education. There was a great concern about the learning material of the ALS students. The main purpose for writing this booklet is to reach those who believe they can passed the exams that given to them. This booklet is actually the edited version of my lecture, which i have delivered on many occasions and in many locations around the Municipality of Tigbauan, Iloilo, Philippines. The positive response of the varied learners to this lecture encouraged me to prepare it as a booklet in order to make it accessible to a wider learners – ALS students, out-of-school youth (OSY), person with disabilities (PWD’s), and senior citizens. I sincerely hope that readers will find the thoughts and discussions in this short booklet useful in your personal quest for different exams. This booklet is useful not only in preparing for classes and exams, but also in organizing one’s time as an adult. Let Ang Makabagong Edukasyon not just remain a little booklet in your hand. Lastly, I would like to thank all those who contributed to preparing and publishing this work, foremost among them, my mother Teresita and Agnes,Angelie, Agustin and Jasmine my sisters and brother.
