Sub-group AR-NGD: Stamps used by the National Guard for official business[edit | edit source]

  • AR-NGD stamps are identified by the slogan since the town mark contains no indication of military use.
  • The National Guard offices come under the jurisdiction of both the Army and the Air Force. Slogans that indicate either the Army National Guard or the Air National Guard are cataloged in the AR-ARM or the AR-AIR sub-groups. Those that do not reference either are cataloged here.
  • First seen in the 1980s.

NOTE: Since a systematic accounting of National Guard meter stamps has not been attempted before, it is likely that more types and varieties exist than those cataloged here.
