Dream Shrine[edit | edit source]
Head to Dream Shrine in north Mabe Village. Go inside and go to bed to enter the true shrine. To beat the enemies without breaking the cracks, use the Pegasus boots to dash through. In the center right of the chamber, the right chest contains a silver rupee worth 100 rupees. Break the crystal with the dash and head left to pick up the ocarina. Currently Link doesn't know how to play, but you can still use the ocarina to hear a comical tune.
Marin's Song[edit | edit source]
Head outside to meat Marin by the rooster statue. Talk to her and she will ask Link to accompany her in a song. Marin vocalizes the Ballad of the Wind Fish and Link manages to follow amazingly well. After confirming Link knows the song, Marin asks Link to remember it and to play it every so often.
On the phone Old Man Ulrira mentions the Angler Key can be found in the Yarna Desert.
Optional Tasks[edit | edit source]
After Key Dungeon visit Dampe's shack to update the chamber components.
Just east of Mable Village is a bombable cracked wall behind the trees next to the cliff ladder. The cracks are located the east side of the tree line, bordering the west field of holes with insect enemies that pop out to attack Link. Bomb the cracked rock to reveal a cave entrance. With the Pegasus boots Link can pop the crystals to make a way to the chest. To actually get to the chest, push the rock to the northwest of the chest to the west. Pop open the chest for a cool 50 rupees. Note the cracked wall on the east side of the room. Bomb it open and enter to find a chamber with a Piece of Heart.
In Mabe village Mamasha mentions that her husband is starving up in the mountains, where he is lost. This is just as he said earlier.
Tarin can be found recuperating from the honey incident at home, having lost his desire for honey.
The Trendy Game Shop has been updated.
With the Pegasus Boots in tow, visit the village library. Dash into the bookshelf to knock the red book down. This book is entitled The Hidden Power of Color and contains a hint for unlocking an optional dungeon.
