Template:Subject page/core/doc

This subtemplate displays subject page content for template {{subject page}}.

Usage

The parameters to be provided to this subtemplate are described in the documentation for {{subject page}}, except for one introduced by {{subject page}} when calling here.

• subject — the name of the subject whose page content is to be displayed. No Subject: prefix.

(This subtemplate ignores parameters 1 and 2, which are incidentally passed through from {{nowrap|{{subject page}}}.)

Internals

This subtemplate customizes parameter values — such as providing default values for parameters not specified — and delegates the actual display generation to {{subject page/core2}}. For this subtemplate to function correctly it should be called from {{subject page}} using one of the Module:TScope#Call functions, so that parameters not provided to {{subject page}} are not provided here, rather than merely being blank.
