Usage

This subtemplate of {{Intersection link/url}} generates the url for the link. Uses those parameters of the parent that bear on the url.

Internals

This template embeds its parameters in the url, which invokes dialog action do, which converts the parameters from the url into dialog parameters, which it then applies (in the usual template-parameter-like way) to page Template:Intersection link/view.

While the parameters to this template, and to its parent, have names starting with cat and not, the parameters passed forward from here shorten these prefixes to c and n. This was done for a small compactness advantage, both in the url and on the target page.
