From Wikibooks, open books for an open world
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This template returns the part of the page name that comes after the name of the interactive assistant to which it belongs, assuming certain naming conventions.

Usage[edit source]

Simply place {{ASSTSUB}} on a page to get the output.

Optionally specify a page as a parameter to see the output for a different page than the current one; or the name of a global assistant, or parent and name of a local assistant (see parameter examples at {{ASST}}).

This template can be substituted (via subst:) as well as transcluded.

Internals[edit source]

Calls {{ASST}} with ASSTSUB/t.

The part of the page name omitted by this template is provided by either {{ASSTROOT}}, {{ASSTTEMPLATE}}, or {{ASSTCATEGORY}}, depending on whether the page is in the assistant's native space, template space, or category space. Thus, if this template returns non-blank, the full page name should be either {{ASSTROOT}}/{{ASSTSUB}}, {{ASSTTEMPLATE}}/{{ASSTSUB}}, or {{ASSTCATEGORY}}/{{ASSTSUB}}.
