Adaptive radiotherapy includes gating, tumor tracking, etc. RT treatment planning has traditionally been a static process - whereby a plan is generated based on a single snapshot of the patient's anatomy and delivered over a number of weeks. However, IGRT approaches will most likely transform this static process into a dynamic one, whereby plans are altered throughout the treatment course or perhaps even throughout the treatment fraction.
