Present Subjuntivo (O presente do subjuntivo) is used to show that some idea or action is hypothetical. It is also used to express desire, emotion, improbability, give commands, and in impersonal expressions to express opinion (i.e. É bom que ele seja.)

Example: Eu quero que tu me tragas um garfo. -> I want you to bring me a fork.

Forming[edit | edit source]

Presente do Conjuntivo is formed from the singular first person of Presente do Indicativo's radical, plus the following desinencies:
