Missingno. is not an official Pokémon. However, it can be found in some early games via glitches. It's appearance may vary, but is typically incoherent.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Missingno. is simply a shortened form of the words Missing Number. Unlike other Pokémon, there isn't meant to be a particular meaning behind it beyond being an error message.
