Passover Haggadah/Ur'chatz

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world

Everyone washes their hands from a vessel. Rings, watches and bracelets should be removed so that the whole hand including the wrist is washed. The water is poured over the hands. There are different customs; one is to pour water one hand thrice, and the other hand thrice again. The prayer for the washing of the hands is not said.

There is a custom for two young children to wash the hands of those seated around the table by bringing the water to them.
