Open Standards

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world
Jump to navigation Jump to search

For working together, a common base is needed. Standards are defined, but often, they are not for free.

The thought of "open source software" is a good thing, giving a quick exchange to people with the same goal.

This page is intended for people who want to define a working base to collaborate with others, without consortiums, patents or other barriers.

If you have a good definition for working together, for example electrical interface definitions so that students from different universities can exchange their work, you are invited to place it here.
