Nuclear energy is one of the most widely used forms of knowledge for the production of other energies such as electricity, heat, light, material production, etc. Of course, nuclear energy is unfortunately used in the ways of atomic and hydrogen bombs, whose use causes the extinction of the human race. (for example: Hiroshima and Nagasaki incident)
