An atom is the smallest constituent particle of an element, which itself consists of the following particles:

  • Proton
  • Neutron
  • Electron

Protons and neutrons form the nucleus, and the mass of each atom goes back to its nucleus The space around the nucleus is surrounded by electrons, and the chemical behavior of each atom is related to its electrons.
