Nature manifests in artistic ways. We can see this when stars are formed, in the formation of rocks and crystals, when different metals are fused into alloys. There exist hundreds of materials with a wide range of colors, reflectivities, and other beautiful characteristics. Humans ourselves are also works of art, with each individual unique and capable of creation. In this book, we will design and create objects inspired by metaphysical ideas from writers such Aristotle,[1] Isaac Newton, and Rene Descartes, exploring these ideas in a fun and creative manner.
