Here are some extra info that you can use in Battle Network 5"

Bass Cross MegaMan[edit | edit source]

To get Bass Cross MegaMan in the GBA versions, you will need to get the Bass Cross MegaMan e-Reader+ card, in which the card will take up 70MB of your 80MB space. For Double Team DS, first get the Bass icon in a GBA version (by beating BassΩ or BassXX) and connect it to the GBA slot while Double Team DS is loaded. Depending on the GBA version involved, you will either get the gold Power Mode (Team ProtoMan) or the silver Speed Mode (Team Colonel), and the different abilities therein.

Both versions give three common enhancements to MegaMan:

  • Triple Buster - the MegaBuster now attacks both the row MegaMan is in as well as the row above and the row below.
  • Normal Body - the body does not take double damage from any kind of attack.
  • the number of Mega Chips allowed in your folder is reduced by two.

Each version has three additional enhancements:

  • HP Boost - a 200 HP boost for Power Form and 20% boost for Speed Form
  • Charged Shot - the charged shot becomes the Hell's Rolling in Speed Form and the Shooting Buster in Power Form
  • the effects of FloatShoes in Speed Form and SuperArmor in Power Form

Sol Cross MegaMan[edit | edit source]

To date, you cannot get Sol Cross MegaMan in either GBA version. However, if you connect Boktai 3 to the GBA slot while Double Team DS is loaded, you will get Sol Cross MegaMan. In the English Version of Double Team DS, Boktai 2 is required to activate Sol Cross, due to the lack of an English Boktai 3 release.

Sol Cross MegaMan, like Bass Cross MegaMan Power Form, will give an extra 200HP to MegaMan and the effects of SuperArmor, but also decrease the number of Mega Chips permitted by two. The charged shot for Sol Cross Megaman is changed into the GunDelSol.

If MegaMan is jacked in from an outside location (DoghouseComp, SquirrelComp, DumplingComp, NinjaComp, internet areas via End Area 2 or Oran Area 1, PipeComp, and SoulServerComp), Sol Cross MegaMan will also have the following effects:

  • A large sun appears on the opposite side of the field, powering up your chips by up to 20 points (for chips with attack ratings). This effect works similar to the Otenko secret chip.
  • The damage inflicted by all Boktai-related chips (any GunDelSol chip and any Django NaviChip), as well as the charged shot, is doubled.
  • Sol Cross MegaMan also gets the benefits of the AutoHeal Navi Customizer part.

Music Remix[edit | edit source]

In Double Team DS, if you put any Battle Network game (excluding Battle Chip Challenge) in the GBA slot, you will get remixed versions of the music from those games.

Liberation Powerup[edit | edit source]

In Double Team DS, the chips for various navis are powered up depending on the game placed in the W-gate:

  • the StepSword B and the ColonelCannon C are powered up with MegaMan Battle Network
  • the KingdomCrusher K and the NorthSouthTackle M are powered up with MegaMan Battle Network 2
  • the SplitUp S and the Airforce G are powered up with MegaMan Battle Network 3 (either version)
  • the TomahawkSwing T and the Napalm N are powered up with MegaMan Battle Network 4 (either version)
  • the NumberTrap N and the Satellity S are powered up with Rockman.EXE 4.5 Real Operation
  • the ShockingMelody T and the MeddyCap M are powered up with either GBA version of MegaMan Battle Network 5

Extra Folders[edit | edit source]

Several unmodifiable extra folders are available from around the net. In Double Team DS, you can also import your Team Colonel or Team ProtoMan folders as extra folders.

In Double Team DS, if MegaMan Battle Network is in the W-gate, you can also get the War Folder from an Undernet HeelNavi.
