Mega Man is a series of action packed platform video games, created by the Capcom company and in part by game designer Keiji Inafune in 1987. As of 2022 there are eleven games in the main series and over forty games in total in the entire Mega Man universe.
Featuring simplistic yet addictive gameplay, Mega Man has become one of the most popular series of all time. To date it has spawned five spin-off game series, multiple anime and cartoon series, and a large fanbase.
