Spleen - Artery

Anatomy[edit | edit source]

The heart is inside the chest. The heart consists of the right atrium, left atrium, right ventricle, and left ventricle.

Function[edit | edit source]

The heart pumps blood through the body. The blue deoxygenated blood moves through the right atrium and then into the right ventricle and then into the lungs. This is where it mixes with the oxygen and it turns the blood red. The red blood travels all over the body. Then the oxygen has been used so it travels back to the heart and the cycle repeats.
