Laboratory Safety/Entry Procedures

  1. Upon entering, put your personal belongings in the designated area. If no such area exists, put them under your desk or in a corner so no one trips by accident.
  2. Note the locations of exit doors, telephones, shower/eyewash, the first aid, spill kits, fire extinguishers, and fire blanket.
  3. Wear your protective equipments immediately if someone else have already started working or if you are near hazardous chemicals.
  4. Check the MSDS again for all the chemicals that you will be using that day.
