- Frank with simulated perforation outer border, “ZANZIBAR” in panel at top, ornamental designs in panels at sides.
- M# with “U” prefix in small boxes in lower corners.
- Two meters known, U1 and U2.

NOTE: Proofs from Universal “Simplex” meter “S1” exist. This machine possibly was in use for a short time but no used examples have been reported. [$50 for proof]
