Stamp types PO-C2 through PO-C5 are similar to each other. The digital point-of-sale data is applied to horizontal self-adhesive labels with a color underprint. More than 120 different underprint designs have been used with many more probably to follow. No attempt is made in this catalog to show all the different underprint designs.

The companies that manufacture the Post Office counter machines that produce Types PO-C2 through PO-C5 (Epelsa and Mobba) also produce stand-alone self-service digital stamp vending machines (ATMs). The ATM stamps are nearly identical in appearance but have a 5-digit ID number. All the post office counter stamps have a 4-digit ID number. Also, any stamp with a date comes from a post office counter machine as the vending machines do not print a date.

The illustrations shown for these stamps have their underprint design removed due to a question of copyright. If you want to see these stamps unedited in full color as issued, go to this website:      http://www.ateeme.net/

NOTES:

  • The identification number has no prefix to help identify the manufacturer and model of the meter.

PO-D1.2. Make and model unidentified (digital), 2018.
