- All franks are inscribed “KUWAIT”.
- The stamps are grouped according to appearance of the frank:
- A - Upright or square
- B – Horizontal
- Three sets of currency have been used:
- Indian Currency: 16 Annas = 1 Rupee
- Decimal Currency: 100 Naye Paise = 1 Rupee (from 01 June 1957)
- Kuwaiti Dinar: 1000 Fils = 1 Dinar (from 01 April 1961)
