International Postage Meter Stamp Catalog/Barbados

The first meter was installed in 1934. All stamps have “BARBADOS” in the frank. The stamps are grouped according to appearance and function:
- A - Frank with ornamentation but without postal logo
- B - Frank with crown
- C - Frank with trident
- D - Frank with neither ornament nor postal logo
- PO - Special stamps for post office use only
GROUP A: Frank with ornamentation but without postal logo[edit | edit source]



A1. Neopost (FV-3, LV-6), 1934. [$20]
- Upright frank with straight-line outer frame and inner frame around value in center and filigree ornaments at sides.

A2. Neopost (LV-6), 1950. [$25]
- Frameless design with badge of the colony at center.
- M# with “N” prefix in squares at bottom corners.
- M#s N16 and N17 known.

- Horizontal frank enclosing straight-line town mark at left.
- Large circle in center contains the badge of the colony under George V.
- One of the horses looks back.

- As type A3 but the circle in center contains the badge of the colony under Elizabeth II.
- Both horses look forward.
