[edit | edit source]- The first meter appeared in 1976 while still a colony of Great Britain. Stamps from the colonial period are inscribed "ANTIGUA" alone.
- Since achieving independence in 1981, stamps from the prior era continued to be used along with new issues inscribed with full country name "ANTIGUA & BARBUDA" that first came to our attention in 2014.
- The stamps are grouped by inscription:
- A - ANTIGUA alone
- B - ANTIGUA & BARBUDA
