You might have enjoyed eating a sweet mango or eating an orange. Have you at any point of time thought before eating, how are these produced?

By your knowledge you may say that it's by photosynthesis. Yes photosynthesis is a complex chemical reaction carried out by plants. It is so complex that it is difficult to describe it in detail.

There are many chemical reactions that take place in our daily life. As a result of these reactions variety of substance are formed by ninety naturally occurring elements.

  • Chemical combination: A + B → AB
  • Chemical decomposition: AB → A + B
  • Chemical displacement: AB + C → AC + B
  • Chemical double displacement: AB + CD → AD + CB
