The CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician certification covers the knowledge and skills required to implement, deploy, and support healthcare IT systems in U.S. clinical settings.

It is recommended, but not required, that CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician candidates have at least 500 hours of hands-on technical experience with implementing IT in clinical settings.
