Adverbs are used to describe verbs. For example: The man hardly works.

In Gothic there are two forms for adverbs: -o -aba

The first one is more conservative and used in old words like sinteino (daily).

The second one is the most used one and a later development. It is used in words like hvassaba (sharply).
