Summary

Description
English: The interaction between disks is a hard disk one, but disks of the same color repel themselves at a shorter distance than disks of different colors (red and green). This difference is the cause of the demixing. This shows that there can be surface tension (here line tension) without attraction between molecules. There are 1 million hard disks on this image (computing time : 3 weeks with a PC and good optimized processes)
