Mechanical Modeling of the Ear[edit | edit source]

There are three main parts of the human ear; the Outer, Middle, and Inner ear.

The Middle Ear[edit | edit source]

The Middle Ear is an air filled cavity that converts the mechanical energy input from the tympanic membrane into hydraulic energy. The middle ear contains three bones:

Bones of the Middle Ear
Malleus
Incus
Stapes
