Let's begin with some vocabulary building excercises.
Exercise 1: Picture matching[edit | edit source]

Synopsis[edit | edit source]
In the following scene, Siena, AJ and Cate talk about the upcoming and past seasons. Siena seems to be confused due to the temperature. Notice how the use of the word "el" and "la" change according to the different nouns. Use context clues and root words to help you figure out the words "caliente y confundiste."
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Siena: Esta caliente. ¿Es verano?
AJ: No, todavia no es verano.
Cate: Estamos en la temporada antes de verano.
Siena: O! Estamos en la primavera.
AJ: Te confundiste porque esta mas caliente que el invierno.
Cate: Y también porque las plantas están mas verdes.
Siena: Tienes razón. Las hojas tienen muchas pistas.
AJ: ¡Cuando están morones, rojas y anaranjadas es otoño!
Cate: Ya quiero que sea verano.
Siena, AJ, Cate: ¡NO CLASES!
