Resonance is where the reactance of capacitors and inductors cancel at a specific frequency.

Z_C = Z_L
\frac {1}{j\omega C} = j\omega L
\omega = \frac{1}{\sqrt{LC}}

This frequency is called Resonance Frequency usually, denoted as \omega_o = \frac{1}{\sqrt{LC}}
