Willfulness does not accept reality as it is in the moment. Willfulness hopes that by denying reality reality will somehow change or that someone else will take the action to change reality in the desired direction. Willfulness refuses to tolerate unpleasant emotions and insists that whatever causes the unpleasant emotions shouldn't exist.
