Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Add chopped beef, and fry until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. Add onions and carrots, and fry for a minute.
  3. Add the chopped peppers and peas.
  4. Add seasoning cubes and salt to taste.
  5. Stir in the corn kernels.
  6. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a plate, and set aside.
  7. Heat some more oil in the same pan, and add the blended tomatoes.
  8. Stir in the tomato paste, and fry for 3 minutes.
  9. Stir in some beef stock or water.
  10. Stir in the couscous, making sure the couscous is well-coated with the sauce. Cover with a lid, remove from the heat, and let rest until the liquid is absorbed.
  11. Stir in the cooked beef and cooked vegetables.
  12. Serve.
