Fërgesë of Tirana with veal (Fergesë e Tiranës me Mish Viçi) is an Albanian dish.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. In a saucepan, preheat the olive oil. Sauté the meat and onion for 15 minutes.
  2. In another saucepan, melt the butter and add flour, cottage cheese, and black pepper, salt and chili pepper to taste.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together (adding the sautéed meat and onions) in the saucepan.
  4. Bake in a preheated 350 °F oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Take out and serve immediately.

Notes, tips, and variations[edit | edit source]

  • Instead of veal cutlets, beef liver can be used in the same quantity, following the same instructions as above.
