This recipe was found at Restaurant la Cascade[1] in the Languedoc region of France.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Peel, chop and fry the onions; do not brown.
  2. Peel and chop the carrot.
  3. Mix all except stem ginger together and simmer for 40 minutes.
  4. Finely chop the stem ginger. Liquidize, add 3 teaspoons of finely chopped stem ginger
  5. Reheat, check seasoning, and serve.
