Tiger nut milk, also known as kunnu aya, is a typical Nigerian beverage consumed commonly in the north of the country.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Cover tiger nuts with water, and allow to soak for one day.
  2. Blend together the soaked tiger nuts, dates, and ginger to form a paste, adding water as necessary.
  3. Thin the paste to the desired consistency, and sweeten to taste.
