Atyever soup is a slippery Nigerian soup made from jute leaves. It is consumed by people from the Tiv tribe, and it is easy to prepare.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Boil the atyever leaves.
  2. Combine the palm oil, fish, blended pepper, and boiled atyever leaves in a pot. Cook for few minutes.
  3. Add maggi and salt to taste, then stir slowly until the soup is slippery enough.
  4. Serve.
