Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus)

Eucalyptus oil comes from the leaves and twigs of the Eucalyptus globulus tree. It has a woody scent.

Properties

Immunological

Helps fight colds, flu other viral infections.

Respiratory

Alleviates asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, sinusitis and coughs.

Skin

Relieves herpes, burns and minor wounds. Improves athlete's foot.

Urological

Alleviates urinary tract infections.

Caution

  • Don't ingest eucalyptus oil.
  • Don't use eucalyptus oil if you have epilepsy.
  • Don't use eucalyptus oil if you have hypertension (high blood pressure).
