Black Pepper (Piper nigrum)

Black pepper oil comes from the fruit (peppercorns) of the Piper nigrum plant. It has a warm, spicy, peppery scent. It has a diuretic and stimulating effect.

Properties

Digestive

Relieves indigestion, heartburn, flatulence and constipation. Improves appetite. Increases saliva.

Fights colds and flu.

Alleviates sinus congestion.
