- An unblock request is made by the user placing an
{{unblock}}template on their User talk page (which they can still edit). - An admin will review the block, and make the appropriate determination
- Abuse of
{{unblock}}will result in the affected talk page being protected
- If you decide to unblock a user or decline the request
