1 In þem Onginn was þat Word, and þat Word was mid Godd, and þat Word was Godd. 2 He was mid Godd in þem Onginn. 3 Þurh hin wurden alle Þinge gescapen; buten him warþ nawiht gescapen, þe gescapen worden is. 4 In him was Leif, and þat Leif was þat Liht alles Mankynns. 5 Þat Liht sceinþ in þer Þiestre, and þie Þiestre ne hafþ it oferkommen.
