The Rob Roy is a cocktail similar to a Manhattan but made with Scotch whiskey and sweet vermouth instead of rye whiskey.
- 1½ ozs. (45 ml) Scotch Whisky
- 1 oz. (25 ml) sweet vermouth
- dash Angostura bitters
- Fill a mixing glass with ice.
- Add bitters, scotch and vermouth and stir.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnished with a Maraschino cherry.
