Method: A three-layered shot: first layer - Kahlúa; second layer: Bailey's; third layer - Midori.



Queen Mary[edit source]

Ingredients
  • glass of beer
  • grenadine (to taste)
  • garnished with maraschino cherries
Method: Pour grenadine into a beer glass (to taste) followed by beer, leaving room for a thick layer of pink-hued beer foam. Drop maraschino cherries into the glass as a cocktail garnish. Finish by dripping some of the syrup from the cherries over the foam for additional sweetness and colour, if desired.

Notes:

  • Named after Queen Mary of Teck, Queen Consort to King George V of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions.
  • A popular alternative to a Shandy, this beer cocktail finds its origin in Calgary, Canada.
