Annotations[edit | edit source]

704.22 eggs beaten up with marsala      Marsala wine is a fortified wine from the Sicilian city of Marsala. It is used in the sauce of the Italian dish Chicken marsala, not to be confused with the Indian based dish Chicken masala which would possibly be anachronic in Ulysses.
