Annotations[edit | edit source]

Bi i dho husht     (Irish) Be quiet. The correct Irish form is: Bí i do thost. The final word is pronounced [hɔsˠt̪ˠ] (approximately: hawst). The Citizen has clearly confused this with the unrelated English word hush, which implies that he is by no means a fluent speaker of his native tongue.
