[edit | edit source]How should counterfeiting and altering New Taiwan dollar be punished?
Holding
[edit | edit source]Article 3 of the Penal Act of Offenses Against National Currency would apply to national currency. New Taiwan dollar would be local currency, thus subject to the Criminal Code for counterfeiting and altering.
Effect
[edit | edit source]This case law would remain effective until being superseded by Judicial Yuan Interpretation No. 99 on 19 December 1962.
