Algebra/Graphing Systems of Inequalities For Polynomials

To graph a system of inequalities, the first step is to graph each inequality as a dotted line. Then, one must shade in the area that is below the line, given that the inequality has y as the value that is less than. If y is the value that is greater than, one must shade above the line. To shade, one should draw lines roughly perpendicular to the dotted lines at regular intervals close enough together to make it prominent, but not too frequent to take too long.
