Algebra/Chapter 1/Introduction

Many of the most important aspects of modern day mathematics have their roots in the world of arithmetic, including algebra. This chapter is meant to re-visit, or for some introduce, those roots that are often overlooked, and review of all of the prerequisites that are necessary for understanding algebra.
