Keyboard shortcuts allow you to perform actions and functions quickly without having to move one hand to your house.

| Backspace | Delete a message |
| Ctrl + P | Display pins in a channel |
| Ctrl + E | Open the emoji picker when writing a message |
| Ctrl + G | Access the GIF picker |
| Ctrl + Shift + H | Go to Discord Help Center |
| Ctrl + Shift + N | Create or join a server |
| Ctrl + Alt + Arrow Key Up/Down | Switch between servers |
| Shift + Esc | Mark an entire server as read |
| Alt + Arrow Key Up/Down | Switch between channels |
| Alt + Shift + Arrow Key Up/Down | Switch between unread channels |
| Esc | Mark a channel as read |
| Ctrl + B | Go back to the previous text channel |
| Ctrl + Alt + A | Go back to the active audio channel |
