The Scientific Method[edit | edit source]

Scientists come up with hypotheses (potential ideas for how something works and why it works). These are then tested and results are collected.

Scientific investigations[edit | edit source]

  • The variable you change is called the independent variable.
  • The variable you measure is called the dependent variable.
  • The variables that are kept constant are called control variables.
