I ended up messing up my settings making the program unusable. Uninstall and reinstall didn't fix it. I found if you install ( may not be necessary) and open documents and settings (in windows, your home folder may work under *nix) folder and delete the wings fold in your user name folder, you can get a clean install with default settings. Saving the content of that directory, is also give you a chance to recover from later configuration error and to get back to a previous one.
